SURFCOAST BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY NETWORK

The Surfcoast Business and Community Network was established in 2005 for small business operators and community groups in the Surf Coast region to get together to share experiences, ideas and information.  The group met together regularly in  a friendly and informal environment until the end of 2008.

In 2009 members of the group decided to join with Torquay Commerce and Tourism in order to strengthen support for business in the surfcoast region.

Former members of the Surfcoast Business and Community network are encouraged to join Torquay Commerce and Tourism.  This will strengthen our capacity to build a thriving business community and to provide support and services to business people in the region.

Recently former members of the Surfcoast Business and Community Network have helped to form an informal group called 'Biz Break'.  As well as supporting Torquay Commerce and Tourism activities (meetings at 6pm the first Monday of each month) this group gets together each Tuesday morning at 11.00 am for coffee and chat at the Front Beach Cafe, The Esplanade, Torquay.  You are welcome to drop in.
